Former Allman Brothers Band guitarist Dickey Betts is postponing his May tour dates while he undergoes medical tests.
Betts' manager, David Spero, says in a statement Betts has tested negative for cancer of the bladder and prostate. He says Betts had undergone another procedure on Friday to give him relief from unspecified problems.
Spero anticipates Betts will be recovered and ready to tour in June.
