Indianapolis - The city's newest condominium projects will be open to the public Friday and Saturday. It's downtown Indianapolis' newest and largest residential development. The projects include the Athletic Club, Villaggio and 757 Mass Avenue.

The first brownstone of Lockerbie Park is ready for residents. "It's 100 units which is a very large development by downtown standards," said James Thomas, Hearthview Residential.

From the same builders who brought Indianapolis the urban lofts of Mill 9 and the million-dollar condos at the Athletic Club come the comforts of suburban living: the town home project at Michigan and Park Avenue has tree-lined walks and private parking.

"This ability to park in your own private garage and walk into your unit without having to go through anything else hasn't been offered downtown in quite a while," said Thomas.

Everything is new, from hardwood floors to picture windows. New residents can pick their finishes and fixtures. The units feature two and three bedrooms, ranging from 1,400 to 2,400 square feet. There are windows on the backside and granite counter tops in the master bath.

Lockerbie Park is a $35 million project with units selling from $250,000 to $450,000.

"People hear about all these projects but what they don't realize is they're selling very rapidly," said Thomas.
