INDIANAPOLIS — Dozens from around Indianapolis gathered Saturday to rally against the Archdiocese of Indianapolis recent decision regarding transgender students.

The new policy bars transgender kids and teens from attending any school that the archdiocese oversees.

The rally was hosted by Shelly's Voice, a group of young activists that fights for LGBTQ rights and equality.

The car caravan traveled around the Indianapolis Catholic Center to protest the ban.

Shelly's voice also partnered with dozens of other youth organizations in Indiana with many transgender teens coming to speak along with families affected.
