ANDERSON, Ind. (WTHR) - Police in Anderson are investigating a double shooting Thursday night.
A clerk at the Keg-N-Bottle Package store on Meridian Street in Anderson told our partners at the Herald Bulletin a woman ran into the store naked just before 10 p.m., asking him to call the police. The woman had been shot in the stomach.
Police said the woman and a man suffered multiple gunshot wounds in a shooting near the store around 9:30 p.m.
Anderson Police Maj. Joel Sandefur shared few details on the ongoing investigation and declined comment to the newspaper when asked if the shooting was random or an act of domestic violence.
There was no word on the condition of the victims.
