MUNCIE, Ind. (WTHR) - A trial is underway for a mother accused of driving drunk and killing her daughter in a Delaware County crash.
It was nearly two years ago when police say Jessica Skeens rolled her van into a ditch with her four kids and her boyfriend inside. Skeens' six-year-old daughter Taelyn Woodson died in the crash.
Officers also arrested Skeens' boyfriend Nathaniel Jordan, saying he was punching her in the head. contributing to the crash. He was supposed to go on trial Monday, as well, but it was canceled.
