SULLIVAN COUNTY, Ind. (WTHR) - A Sullivan County man is facing several felony charges in the investigation into the sexual abuse of a teenage girl.
State police say 50-year-old Michael A. Hughes of Hymera is accused of engaging in sexual misconduct with a minor. Police had begun the investigation in December 2018 after receiving a report that a 16-year-old girl had been sexually abused.
Hughes was arrested Tuesday morning without incident. He is facing two counts each of sexual misconduct with a minor and child seduction. He is being held in the Sullivan County Jail on a $65,000 bond.
