Pendleton man arrested on 36 counts of child pornography, human trafficking

State police arrested a Pendleton man on 36 felony charges following a child pornography investigation.

PENDLETON, Ind. (WTHR) - State police arrested a Pendleton man on 36 felony charges following a child pornography investigation.

Police say 48-year-old Jeffrey Kramer was grooming an underage girl he met on a dating website to meet for a sexual encounter. He also possessed several images of the same girl, who lives in another state.

He was charged with one count of felony promotion of human trafficking of a minor, five total counts of felony child exploitation (Level 4 & 5 felonies) and 30 counts of felony possession of child pornography.

The investigation into Kramer's activity started in January. Police say more charges are possible as the investigation continues.
