TOLEDO, Ohio — A Toledo man has been charged for allegedly shooting a teen early Sunday morning in north Toledo.
Robert Shields III, 18, is charged with felonious assault for allegedly shooting a 15-year-old in the head inside a home in the 400 block of Park Street at approximately 6:15 a.m. on Sunday.
The 15-year-old, described as a female by Toledo police at the scene, suffered life-threatening injuries in the shooting, according to court documents. Police at the scene on Sunday said the teen was in critical condition.
The victim's sister was in the room when the shooting occurred, court documents said.
Shields is not in custody as of Tuesday at 10 a.m., according to Toledo police. In a social media post, Shields is described as 5 feet, 11 inches tall and 170lbs with black hair and brown eyes.
