INDIANAPOLIS — An investigation is underway after a person was critically injured late Friday in a shooting on Indianapolis' east side.
According to an IMPD spokesperson, dispatchers received a call around 11:50 p.m. reporting a shooting in the 9200 block of Celtic Court, which is near East 38th Street and Post Road.
When officers arrived, they found a person who had been shot, and the victim was taken to a local hospital in critical condition.
The spokesperson did not share information about the circumstances surrounding the shooting, but said they had detained a person of interest.
