PALM BEACH COUNTY, Fla. (WTHR) — A mother and father have been arrested for neglect after police say their daughter had been gone for more than 14 hours before they reported her missing.
The Palm Beach County Sheriff's Officer arrested Jolanda Larose Alexandre and Makenson Alexandre Saturday after they reported their young daughter missing.
Police found the little girl after a call about a child walking in a park alone.
The Alexandres later reported her missing Saturday morning. They both told police they "did not realize" they left her at the park around 7 p.m. Friday.
The Florida Department of Children and Families removed seven additional children from the Alexandres' home. The couple is facing a neglect charge.
