ELWOOD, Ind. (WTHR) - The man suspected of robbing a check cashing store in Elwood last month is now in custody following a police chase in Kentucky.
Police say Jonathan Shull was arrested after a chase outside Louisville that reached speeds up to 100 miles per hour, even speeding through a school zone at one point.
Police did eventually stop the car but had to use a stun gun to get Shull under control.
Elwood officers drove to Kentucky to talk to Shull in person.
He admitted to them that he robbed the store, wearing a black ski mark with a skull face on it during the crime, according to police.
Police found the gun that was used inside during a search of the suspect's car.
It's unclear when he will be extradited to Madison County. He's also wanted for alleged crimes in Ohio and Kentucky.
