INDIANAPOLIS (WTHR) - A police chase in Indianapolis ended with a car going through a restaurant Tuesday evening.
It happened near 34th and Georgetown on the city's west side just before 6 p.m. Firefighters say the driver took off, but the passenger was arrested on the scene.
The restaurant, Harsi's Subs N Pizza, sustained significant damage and will need major repairs.
At least two other cars were involved in the crash. IFD reported one person was taken to the hospital in serious condition.
