INDIANAPOLIS (WTHR) — One person is dead in a shooting on the east side of Indianapolis.
Police responded to the shooting an New York Street and Sherman Drive around 9:30 p.m. Officers initially said two people were shot, but a release later only mentioned one victim.
That victim was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.
