INDIANAPOLIS — The first and cheapest time for participants to register for next year's Indy 500 celebratory mini-marathon and 5K races is right now.
Until Monday, May 13, the 2025 500 Festival Mini-Marathon will only cost $60, and the Delta Dental 500 Festival 5K is offered for $30.
These two events combined bring in more than 20,000 runners and walkers from all around the world.
Both of the races have been named "Best Half Marathon" and "Best 5K Race" by the USA Today in its "10Best" list.
“The Mini-Marathon and 5K are some of the 500 Festival’s largest events and offer such a unique experience for participants,” said Bob Bryant, president and CEO of the 500 Festival. “With hundreds of volunteers and various entertainment groups along the course, this is an opportunity you won’t want to miss.”
