Indianapolis - An assistant pastor faces multiple charges after authorities say he sexually assaulting a 15-year-old boy following a church-sponsored event.
Tyree Coleman, 27, pleaded not guilty today to counts of sexual misconduct with a minor and criminal deviate conduct, sexual battery and child solicitation.
The boy told police that Coleman asked him to come into his office at the Temple of Refuge on Wednesday and allegedly removed the teen's pants and underwear before assaulting him.
Marion County Prosecutor Carl Brizzi says Coleman used his position of trust to assault the young man.
Coleman is being held in the Marion County Jail under a $10,000 bond.
