Family entertainment center coming to Bargersville at former Marsh store

Town leaders wouldn't specify what kind of activities will be included, except for confirming it will be a franchise as part of a national chain.

BARGERSVILLE, Ind. — There's new life coming to a former Marsh store in Johnson County.

Town leaders in Bargersville told 13News the vacant building on State Road 135, near Stones Crossing Road, is slated to become a family entertainment center.

The big box supermarket has been vacant for seven years, ever since the grocery chain filed for bankruptcy.

This is also the same store that was hit and damaged by a tornado in June 2023.

Right now, contractors are repairing the roof and clearing out the building's interior.

Property records show Fresh Encounter, Inc., the management company that owns Needler's, purchased the building in February.

Town leaders said it was bought as an investment property and will soon house an indoor family entertainment center — but the town leaders wouldn't specify what kind of activities will be included, except for confirming it will be a franchise as part of a national chain.

13News has reached out to the property owner and the developer for additional details.

Bargersville is approximately 20 miles south of downtown Indianapolis.
