LINTON, Ind. — A couple of barn owls found love this Valentine's Day, thanks to the Indiana Department of Natural Resources (DNR).

The nesting pair made a home in a nesting box made by the DNR in the Goose Pond Fish and Wildlife Area in Linton, Indiana.

The DNR is livestreaming the two lovebirds – or loveowls – on its website. You can watch the stream by clicking here.

Barn owls are an endangered species in Indiana. Fewer than 50 nests are found every year throughout the state, and the DNR has now built more than 400.

This is the first pair of barn owls to call the Goose Pond (FWA) its home.

Researchers believe the two owls will spend the next few weeks getting used to their home and eventually lay eggs.
