After freelancing with WTHR for a year, Sean officially joined the Live Doppler 13 Weather Team September 2013 and is the Sunday 6pm/11pm and Monday-Wednesday 5:30pm forecaster. He came back to Indianapolis after working three years at WXYZ-TV in Detroit, MI where he was awarded "Best Weathercast" in 2009 and 2010 by the Michigan Association of Broadcasters.

Sean is no stranger to central Indiana, as you may remember his work at WISH-TV from 2000 to 2008. During his time here Sean has covered a host of important weather events including:

Sean says the highlight of his career was capturing eleven tornadoes in only ninety minutes while storm chasing with Ball State University for his Emmy-nominated report "Chasing Danger" on May 24, 2004.

Born and raised in Louisville, KY, Sean received his B.S. in Geography/Meteorology from Western Kentucky University, where he also began his broadcasting career as a weather anchor at WKBO-TV in Bowling Green, KY. His first full time forecasting job was in Chattanooga, TN. He is a certified by the National Weather Association since April of 2000.

Personal: Married with three children:: daughter Sophia and twins Layton and Sloan, lives in Indianapolis. He's completed five straight 500 Festival Mini-Marathons, finished three Indianapolis Monumental Marathons, and will be running in his third Monumental Half-Marathon this November. He's a regular Polar Plunger due to his emceeing duties with the Special Olympics Of Indiana.
