Matthew Fultz

Matthew Fultz joined WTHR in January 2022 as a Weekend Sunrise Anchor and Reporter.

Matthew previously worked in his hometown market of Richmond, Virginia at WTVR CBS 6 News. He spent three years there as a reporter, where he covered the removal of the Robert E. Lee Statue and other confederate monuments in Richmond, along with protests following the death of George Floyd. He also covered the yearbook blackface scandal of former Virginia governor, Ralph Northam and the Virginia Beach mass shooting in 2019. 

Before that, Matthew worked in Harrisonburg, Virginia as a multimedia reporter at WHSV for three years. 

Matthew graduated from Virginia Commonwealth University in 2015. 

He has also won an award through the National Press Photographers Association (NPPA) for his multimedia reporting.  

Matthew is excited to be in the Hoosier state and is a BIG lover of snow. Outside of work, he enjoys working out, playing basketball, video games and getting to know what Indy has to offer.
