Gina Glaros joined WTHR in September 2021 as the Weekend Sunrise Anchor and Reporter.
From Hamilton County, Gina couldn’t be happier to be returning to central Indiana.
Gina came from the Fox affiliate in Louisville, Kentucky, where she spent five years anchoring and reporting. She especially enjoyed having a front row seat at the Kentucky Derby, field anchoring each year from Churchill Downs.
She previously worked in Fort Wayne, Indiana for three years.
Gina is a former WTHR intern. After graduating from Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis, she got her first on-air job in Terre Haute, Indiana. During her time there, she enjoyed performing in community theatre.
When she's not telling stories, you can probably find her at her family's ice cream stores, Handel's Homemade Ice Cream.
