INDIANAPOLIS — Anna Chalker joined the 13News team in September 2023 as a Multiskilled Journalist.
Anna is a senior at Ball State University studying Journalism/Telecommunications News and will be graduating in December. At BSU, Anna serves as the News Director of NewsLink Indiana, the student-run live newscast, and is also an anchor, reporter and producer. She is also a former WTHR intern and covered many stories that impacted central Indiana in 2022, including the mass shooting at Greenwood Park Mall.
Anna has won several awards at the state and national level, with two Associated Collegiate Press Pacemaker finalists' honors, anchoring and reporting awards at the Indiana Association of School Broadcasters, and her most recent, receiving first place Student Television News Reporting at the Indiana SPJ Collegiate level.
Growing up in Connersville, Anna is no stranger to the area and is excited to call central Indiana home.
