INDIANAPOLIS — A bicyclist was killed in a hit-and-run crash on the west side of Indianapolis Friday night.
The crash happened in the 3200 block of West Michigan Street, a few blocks east of North Tibbs Avenue, around 8:20 p.m. Friday. Police say they located a silver General Motors SUV they believed to be involved in the crash away from the scene.
The bicyclist hit and killed was identified as 60-year-old Roy Shepherd.
The crash is being investigated as a hit-and-run.
