INDIANAPOLIS — Periods of showers and thunderstorms have already moved over central Indiana. There will be a break in the action for a few hours. Another round of showers and storms will arrive after 7 p.m. this evening through 8 a.m. Saturday.
There is also the threat of a strong to severe thunderstorm, too, outlined in the green area. While it's a low threat, the threat is still there for some isolated strong winds and with an isolated tornado possible.
Heavy rain will be possible with most of the rain impacting northwest central and north central Indiana. Most areas will pick up around 1" to 3" of rain today into Saturday morning.
A Flash Flood Watch is in effect for the area that will likely be the target of the heaviest rain.
