Teenager killed in Rush County crash

The driver was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

RUSH COUNTY, Ind. — Indiana State Police report a crash in Rush County killed a 16-year-old passenger Tuesday morning. 

Police said a vehicle was speeding along CR 350 East when the driver missed a stop sign at CR 300 North and went airborne over the intersection. The car lost control and hit a tree. The passenger, Kameron Cox, was ejected and later died from his injuries.

The driver was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
