Crews need 2 hours to bring Edinburgh business fire under control

Firefighters battled a blaze Friday at Group Metal Recycling around 5:30 p.m.

EDINBURGH, Ind. — An investigation is underway after fire destroyed an Edinburgh business Friday.

First responders were called to Group Metal Recycling, 111 North Holland Street, at 5:35 p.m. for a fire.

The building was fully engulfed in flames when firefighters arrived. Crews needed about two hours to get the fire under control.

The structure was declared a total loss.

No injuries were reported.
