It will be a stormy 24 hours for central Indiana. Rain and storms are in the forecast through Tuesday. Some of the storms may contain heavy rain and strong/severe winds. Keep the umbrella handy through Tuesday, as the threat for heavy rain will continue. Afternoon temperatures will be in the upper 70s and lower 80s.

Much milder air arrives for the middle part of the week. We are forecasting low temperatures in the 50s and high temperatures in the range of 75 to 80 degrees Thursday and Friday.

This mild air will only last a few days, as heat is forecast return this weekend and early next week. Afternoon temperatures will be back in the middle 80s on Saturday, but near 90 degrees on Sunday and Monday.
