Sunshine was a difference maker today in terms of tempeature. After starting the day in the upper teens and lower 20s, afternoon temperatures jumped into the 40s. Clouds return tonight and there is a chance for a light wintry mix Wednesday morning. There will be some dry time and a few peaks of sunshine possible later Wednesday. Afternoon temperatures will once again reach the lower and middle 40s.

A stronger weather system arrives later Thursday into Friday. This will be rain and not snow for central Indiana. As this moisture arrives, there will be some patchy dense fog possible later Thursday too. Right now we are forecasting .50" to maybe an inch of rain from Thursday afternoon through early Saturday.

Our lastest analysis has the rain ending early Saturday. This will mean lots of dry time this weekend. Afternoon temperatures will be in the middle 40s on Saturday and Sunday.
