Evan Hoffmeyer

Evan Hoffmeyer joined WTHR's digital team in 2014.

Since then, he has helped the Eyewitness News team cover Mark Leonard's trial for the south side explosion and the 2016 Republican National Convention in Cleveland. He also helped develop WTHR.com's special coverage of the 2018 midterm elections, including tracking and profiling every outside spending group that advertised on Channel 13.

Evan has been honored with numerous awards, including five Associated Press awards for Best Website, a Society of Professional Journalists award for Best Website and three regional Emmy Awards.

Before joining WTHR, Evan served as Digital Executive Producer at KATV in Little Rock. He spent the first five years of his career on the broadcast side of the industry as a newscast producer at KATV and KARK in Little Rock and KFSM in Fort Smith, Arkansas.

Evan graduated from the University of the Ozarks in Clarksville, Arkansas with a B.A. in Communications and a minor in political science. While at U of O, he served in a leadership position at the campus television station, KUOZ, for five semesters.

In his spare time, you may catch Evan spending time with his wife, Rachel, hanging out with friends or relaxing with a book at a local coffee shop.
