CLINTON, Ind. (WTHR) - A Clinton woman pulled from the Wabash River on Saturday has been identified.

Vermillion County Coroner Roger Lewis positively identified Jeanne L. Stern, 56, of Clinton, according to Indiana State Police.

Clinton City Police called for ISP assistance after finding a woman's body in the river near Riverside Cemetery around 6:30 p.m.

An initial investigation by State Police showed no sign of foul play. An autopsy showed the cause of Stern's death was consistent with a drowning.
