Whiteland Police seek help locating teen believed to be a runaway

WHITELAND, Ind. (WTHR) – Whiteland police say Ava has been located and she is safe.


Whiteland Police are asking for the community's help locating a a teenage girl last seen Friday.

Police say 15-year-old Ava Patterson was last seen leaving Whiteland Community High School on Friday.

She was wearing black leggings, red Crocs and a gray T-shirt.

Patterson is described to be 5'6" tall, 110 pounds with brown/black hair and brown eyes.

She is known not to wear her glasses, as shown in the photo.

Patterson is not believed to be in any danger at this time. Police are calling her a runaway.
