INDIANAPOLIS (WTHR) — First responders often go above and beyond the job when they respond to emergencies.

And we've got proof of some firefighters doing just that in Johnson County.

The Johnson County Sheriff's Office shared photos of them delivering groceries to the home of the victim following a crash.

Both deputies and White River Fire Department responded to the crash that caused a woman's car to be towed.

Firefighters transported her already-purchased groceries, which were left in the car, to her house so they wouldn't spoil.
