Wet start Sunday

Sunday starts out wet for many of you. If you are headed out to church this morning, take along your umbrella.

From Indy on south we could see a total of a half inch to more than an inch of rain before it all ends tomorrow.

There will be a few dry hours in the evening before the cold front arrives and brings more widespread rain and even a few rumbles of thunder tonight into Monday morning.

If you are headed to the Fuel game or Pacers contest, you'll be dodging drops later today. By the way, get to the Pacers game early and pick up a free poncho from Anne Marie Tiernon, Angela Buchman and Chuck Lofton.

Rain lingers early Monday before clearing as cooler air returns. Temperatures fall into the mid 30s to start the day and only recover into the mid 40s in the afternoon. The sky clears allowing for late afternoon sunshine.

Sunshine dominates for Tuesday but it remains unseasonably chilly with highs in the upper 40s. More mild temperatures take back over Wednesday as sunshine continues with highs in the upper 50s.

Thursday will feature more clouds with highs in the lower 60s and a stray shower possible. Our next weather system brings more widespread rain in for Friday into next Saturday with highs in the lower 60s and 50s through the start of next weekend.
