There is a chance of scattered thunderstorms this afternoon into the early evening.

A couple of storms could be strong to severe.

The better chance of severe storms will be in north central Indiana. It will be a warm and humid day under partly sunny skies and highs will be in the low to mid 80s.

It will be partly cloudy and mild this evening with temperatures falling into the low to mid 60s.

Saturday will be warm, hazy and breezy. Gusts will be around 25 to 30mph with winds out of the southwest.

Saturday evening will be dry and mild with temperatures falling into the low 60s.

A cold front will arrive on Sunday. It will trigger showers and thunderstorms. There is a threat of strong to severe thunderstorms.

Right now, storms will arrive by early afternoon. It’s possible that the front could speed up and bring storms in by mid morning. Keep checking back for the latest updates on storm arrival. With the humid and warm air in place, severe storms will be on the table, with damaging winds and large hail the main threats. It will be a bit cooler, thanks to the rain cooled air with highs in the upper 70s.
