Weekend Forecast Sunshine and Storms - Live Doppler 13 Weather Blog

Angela Buchman

A few showers and storms are still possible this evening, but most of central Indiana will be dry and warm. Heat will be the weather issue to start the weekend and storms will be the weather issue to end the weekend.

Saturday will be your dry day. It will be warm and muggy with afternoon temperatures in the middle 80s.

Take advantage of the dry time because the chance for storms is back for Sunday. Sunday will still be warm and near 80 degrees, but scattered storms will interrupt your outdoor plans for the end of the weekend.

There is a chance a few of the storms on Sunday reach strong/severe limits.

Right now Sunday doesn't look like an all day heavy rain, but there will be scattered storms possible all day. Here is the timeline with FutureTrak13.

We will start next week cooler, with highs in the range of 65 to 70 degrees on Monday. You will have most of Monday and Tuesday dry.

There is a chance for more rain later Tuesday into early Wednesday. We are forecasting another round of heat later next week. As the heat starts to build, there will be a chance for a storm on Thursday. 80s are in the forecast Wednesday through Friday.
