Wednesday SkyTrak forecast calls for a warm up

Summer heat returns to Indiana Wednesday afternoon. Our high today will be 82 and with an afternoon game at Victory Field, it will be a great day to watch the Tribe with their 1:35 p.m. start.

Upper 80s return on Thursday, along with the chance for a few storms. It is still unclear how much storm coverage central Indiana will have, but we will track the storm chances closely because there is a slight risk for severe storms from 7am Thursday through 7am Friday. This is still a couple of days away, so stay tuned for updates on the threat level and timing.

Scattered storms are in the Friday forecast, with highs in the lower and middle 80s.

Looking ahead to the weekend, there will be more dry hours than wet hours.

There is a chance for storms on Saturday, but it doesn't look like a big chance right now. Highs will be in the lower 80s on Saturday and in the middle 80s on Sunday and Monday.

Storm chances return later Monday into Tuesday. We will keep you updated because Tuesday is the 4th of July.
