INDIANAPOLIS — It's just what the doctor ordered for the drought conditions in central Indiana - more rain!
As expected, showers and locally heavy rainfall emerged Monday evening to add to our wettest day since Aug. 10.
This is part of an unsettled pattern that delivers additional periods of rain the next 48 hours, possibly accompanied by rumbles of thunder Tuesday night into Wednesday.
Expect damp, chilly weather Tuesday with temperatures in the 40s early to "warm" into the 50s later in the day with little if any sunshine.
