INDIANAPOLIS — It has been an active day of weather for the first day of 2021. Central Indiana had an icy start due to freezing rain. We had pockets of heavy rain midday. Now we have patchy dense fog and areas of drizzle. Wet roads and reduced visibilities will be the weather issues for you Friday night. Temperatures will be nearly steady and in the upper 30s to near 40. Visibility will be near zero at times, so travel with some extra caution.
It will be a cloudy and dry Saturday, before a chance for snow arrives Saturday night. A couple of inches of snow will be possible.
