It will be mostly clear tonight and with the low dew points, temperatures will easily fall into the low 50s, running about 10 degrees below average.
A warming trend will move in for the rest of the week. Monday will be pleasant with mostly sunny to partly sunny skies. Humidity will remain low with highs in the upper 70s.
Temperatures will climb back into the mid 80s by Tuesday but humidity will stay down.
More heat and a bit more humidity creeps back in by mid week with highs in the upper 80s to near 90 degrees.
By Friday, Indianapolis could record it’s first 90 degree day of the year. The last time there was a 90 degree day goes back to October 2, 2019. On average, Indianapolis records around 14 days of 90° or warmer days. The hot stretch will continue through Father’s Day.
More unsettled weather arrives with the heat and humidity. There is a chance of storms Friday on through the holiday weekend.
