Friday morning could be our third straight day to start in the 50s, something that hasn't happened this early in August (1st-10th) since 2004. Either way, Friday remains refreshing but a bit warmer in the afternoon in the lower 80s.

The aforementioned dry air lingers into the start of the weekend, likely protecting the state from potential storm clusters erupting on approaching muggy air.
