INDIANAPOLIS — The big weekend is here and the weather looks great through Memorial Day.
You will need sunscreen and lots of water for all of the Indy 500 events. It will be a cool start to Carb Day on Friday, with early morning temperatures in the middle 40s. Friday afternoon will be sunny and mild with highs in the middle 70s.

A gradual warming trend is in the forecast. A mix of sun and clouds is what we are forecasting for the parade in Indianapolis on Saturday. Forecast highs are in the upper 70s.

There will be some clouds later Saturday into early Sunday due to a weather system sitting just to our southeast. It is far enough away that we will not get rain, just some clouds. The Indy 500 is on Sunday and after some clouds early, there will be some sun and highs near 80 Sunday afternoon.

Forecast highs are in the middle 80s on Memorial Day with some sun.
Our weather pattern heats up next week. Highs will be in the upper 80s to near 90 starting Tuesday.
