The weekend forecast includes a warm Saturday, a stormy Saturday night and a cooler Sunday. Saturday will be the best day for outdoor plans, with some sun and highs in the lower 70s.
A fast moving cold front arrives Saturday night, bringing a line of rain and storms to central Indiana. The storms will move into NW Indiana between 9pm and 10pm and then move into the central part of the state after midnight.
There is a chance for a strong/severe storm with damaging winds and hail.
The threat for storms will end early Sunday morning but a few showers will linger through at least sunrise.
Sunday will be a much cooler day with temperatures only near 50 degrees.
Sunshine is back for Monday with highs near 60. Expect a mix of sun and clouds on Tuesday but it will be warmer and in the range of 65 to 70 degrees. Changes arrive for Wednesday. Expect rain and falling temperatures. Some data indicates it might be cold enough for the rain to mix with some sleet or snow. We will keep you updated.
