INDIANAPOLIS — The average high for the middle of May is in the lower 70s and we will be near 70 degrees over the next several days and in the 70s next week. It will be mainly clear and cool overnight with temperatures in the lower and middle 40s Friday morning. Highs on Friday will be near 70.
Clouds increase on Saturday to start the weekend. Forecast highs are still near 70. There is a slight chance for a stray shower Saturday.
We are tracking a weak and disorganized weather system for the end half of the weekend. It will be close enough to include a rain chance on Sunday but there will be lots of dry time and it will be mild with highs near 70 degrees.
There is a better chance for rain and storms on Monday. This will be the beginning of an active weather pattern with a daily rain/storm chance through Thursday.
