Sunny But Bitter Valentine's Day - Live Doppler 13 Blog

It’s a bitter cold Valentine’s Day across central Indiana today. This morning, temperatures fell to 2°.


It ranks up in the top 7 coldest Valentine's mininums.


At least it will be sunny and dry today. Winds will relax a bit, but it will still feel like the single digits today with temperatures only climbing into the upper teens.


It will be clear and cold tonight. Temperatures will fall into the low teens.


Clouds will increase on Saturday. The winds will shift out of the south, allowing temperatures to warm into the upper 30s and low 40s. It will be gusty at times, with gusts near 20 mph.


There is a chance of a brief rain or snow shower by early evening into Sunday morning. Most areas stay dry and mild with temperatures only falling into the low 30s.


Sunday will be mild with mostly cloudy skies and highs in the low 40s.

Scattered showers develop Monday afternoon. Temperatures will climb through the day, eventually getting into the upper 40s by late day.

After an early high in the low 50s Tuesday, temperatures will tumble behind a cold front. Scattered showers with some heavy downpours will continue Tuesday, before shutting down by early evening.



Wednesday will be much cooler with temperatures starting off in the low 20s and only climbing into the mid 30s.
