INDIANAPOLIS — It will be another mild night with overnight temperatures falling into the middle and upper 50s. Thursday will be sunny and a bit warmer with highs in the middle 80s.
The overall weather pattern turns warmer and more humid for Friday through Monday. This will mean afternoon temperatures 85 to 90 degrees and higher humidity. You can see the muggy meter really goes up later this week and this weekend.
There will be a daily storm chance too. Right now the best rain and storm chances will be on Friday and Monday. You will want to stay weather aware on Friday because there is a risk for severe weather.
We will be tracking a complex of storms arriving early Friday morning. This complex will be weakening as it arrives, but rain, lightning and gusty winds will be possible from about 4am to 10am Friday. Additional storms are possible Friday afternoon and evening.
