It was another hot and humid day on Wednesday and took some time for the storms to develop. There were several storms that brought damaing winds to parts of central Indiana. There were reports of trees down from Cicero to Fishers to Greenfield. The threat for storms and the threat for some strong/severe storms continues across central Indiana. The biggest threats are damaging winds and large hail. Stay weather aware through late this evening.
Once we get on the northern side of the weather system bringing the storm threat, temperatures will drop a few degrees. It will still be warm and muggy Thursday and Friday, but instead of the upper 80s and lower 90s, we are forecasting afternoon temperatures in the lower and middle 80s.
The weather system will still be close enough for a stray shower or storm Thursday and Friday too, but there will be lots of dry time for outdoor activities.
There is sunshine in the weekend forecast with highs in the middle 80s on Saturday and the lower 80s on Sunday.
