INDIANAPOLIS — Saturday will be mostly cloudy and a bit warmer with a southerly wind. Afternoon highs will climb into the low to mid 80s.
An upper level system will move over the Great Lakes over the weekend. Showers and thunderstorms will be possible Saturday afternoon and then will become likely by Saturday evening.
A few isolated strong to severe storms will be possible, mainly in northeast central Indiana, where dynamics are best.
A few gusty severe winds will be possible.
Showers and storms will continue during the overnight, however, the threat of severe weather really diminishes.
Temperatures will fall into the low 60s Sunday morning. Showers will move out from northwest to southeast by mid morning Sunday.
