INDIANAPOLIS — Whew it was a soggy, breezy and chilly day. The threat for heavy rain continues overnight. Rain totals are already in the range of 1-3 inches. The heavy rain will end but it won't be completely dry on Thursday. Yes...the rain will linger into Thursday afternoon, but it won't be as heavy as it was today. The heaviest rain will fall overnight and taper off to scattered showers tomorrow afternoon. It will be another cool day with highs near 60.
If you are ready for the sunshine to return it will on Friday. Friday will be mostly sunny and mild with highs in the lower 70s.
There is another rain chance late Friday night into early Saturday. Saturday afternoon will be dry and there is sunshine in the forecast for the rest of the weekend. Highs will be near 70 on Saturday and in the middle 70s on Sunday. 80 degree warmth returns next week.
