INDIANAPOLIS — The first weekend of October will be sunny and warmer.
The remnants of Ian will move in closer this weekend. The area of high pressure in the Great Lakes area will help stir the low pressure system westward.


The winds will increase out of the north-northeast from 5 to 15 mph. Gusts around 20 to 25 mph will be possible.




Afternoon highs will be in the low 70s, near normal for this time of year.


Temperatures will fall to near 50° Sunday morning. Clouds will increase on Sunday and it will continue to be breezy. The winds will gust around 25 mph at times.


Afternoon highs will be near 70°.
