INDIANAPOLIS — Widespread rain returns overnight, mainly after 3 a.m.
Plan ahead, because rain will be likely during the morning rush on Monday. Be prepared for water-logged roadways and low visibility.
Scattered showers and storms will be likely again through the day with temperatures approaching the upper 60s. Severe storms are not expected.
The unsettled, wet pattern keeps rain in the forecast overnight Monday into Tuesday.
The storm system will finally pull northeast by Tuesday night. A lingering stray shower will be possible on Wednesday, but most of the moisture will have exited the area by then.
Many spots see 0.5"-1.0" of rainfall through central Indiana. Since the rain will fall over such a long period of time, areas of flooding are not anticipated.
