Afternoon highs will be in the low 70s.
A ridge in the upper levels will build in for the workweek.
This will allow for a dry and warmer pattern to take over.
Temperatures will be running well above average next week, with temperatures soaring into the mid to upper 80s.
And, a few records could be tied or fall next week.
